From today, our project has a new device, the Plant Canopy Imager CI-110.

This innovative tool combines two common methods for analyzing plant canopies into a single instrument. The self-leveling, wide-angle lens enables users to capture hemispherical photographs for calculating leaf area index (LAI) and void fraction analysis. Additionally, the instrument features photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) sensors that provide an alternative option for LAI calculations while also delivering valuable information on radiation levels and sunspots. Furthermore, the device is seamlessly integrated with a corresponding software program, which allows for quick and easy on-site data analysis.
