The UrbanFoS project team members will sample the soil in the Arboretum of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade tomorrow, 17 and 19 July 2024, as part of the planned project activities. Cylinders of known volume will be used for sampling undisturbed samples, and a drill and a shovel will be used for disturbed samples. Field measurements will also be carried out with a hand-held wing probe and a penetrometer.
The UrbanFoS team plans to perform hemispherical canopy photography and image analysis with light measurement for undisturbed calculation of leaf area index and other canopy parameters as part of the activity. The Plant Canopy CI-110 will be used for the above canopy analyses.
